Tools and weapons

Choice and availability of different raw materials to shape tools and weapons has changed a lot during the time there has been people at Ceavccageađge/Mortensnes.

In the Stone Age stone, bone, antler and wood were the most important materials of tool and weapon production. Later, metals took over as the most important resource in production of tools.

Gradual technical changes have led to today´s different forms of production. Most of the things that surround us today are not made by ourselves, and they are not commonly made from materials we find in the nature close by.
