Reindeer and bear graves
In pre-Christian times some animals were buried in much the same ways as people within the Sami culture. Most commonly reindeer and bears were honoured with such funerals.
At Ceavccageađge/Mortensnes there have been found graves with reindeer bones without human skeletons. These are probably reindeer graves.
Not far from the Cultural Heritage Park there has been found a bear grave at a scree grave site.
